  • Water pump

I have a early 1951 comander which the water pump is different then later models. I have a pulley off of a 52, if I use it can I use the newer water pump?

I'm pretty sure the shaft length is different, so the belt may not line up.

Yes but the pully on the 52 has a wider offset because the 52 uses the newer pump
