  • 61 hawk door windows

I was at the car today helping with the stripping and we removed the door, I noticed that with the window half down I could tilt the window forward and then I could pull it back to the channel, Does this mean that the window is not in the track? I know I need to replace the window channel around the door however will I have to take the window compleely out? The window is very loose side to side and back and forward.

Yes, you'll have to take the window out, and, yes, worn out W/stripping can cause the malady you speak of.
