I was wondering if any one has put an am fm radio in from like Studebaker International? I don't have air conditioning yet, so the windows will be down, so can you hear the radio without turning it all the way up.

I think if you can hear the radio with the windows down, there must be something wrong with your mufflers. Like they are plugged or something. Oh, just kidding. I guess it would depend on how fast you are driving. If you are on the interstate in traffic I would say the answer would be no, regardless of who made the radio. On a two lane at 55 you stand a fair chance unless the the wind direction is against you. Who needs a radio anyway when you have a 289 to listen to? I would say go ahead get the radio it will be fine. Actually I do notice that the Hawks with [u]all</u> the windows down and the vent windows open a bit have a lot less wind noise than a modern car with all the door posts and big mirrors outside.
