  • Front Spring Shackles

Howdy All, In the process of my project, I have pulled the front axle and springs for painting, and found that the front shackle on one side of my 4E 1/2 ton has pins that are very rusted, to the point of being unsafe. The other side is looking bad also. I have been trying to locate a vendor that has these for sale. I have looked through the listings from quite a few, with no luck. Any suggestions on finding a set? Thanks Tim

Just a follow up to let everyone know I found a set of shackles from a fellow Studebaker Truck Farmer. I didn't realize these would be so tough to find. Ebay sellers for Studebaker parts, take note! Tim

No chance of just adapting some universal shackles from your FLAPS?
