    I've been waiting for you to put up some more pics for the parts ID game, it was fun, I thought. Why don't ya put up some more?

          No, it's a factory part, but is a alternator bracket.

                Bob let me know when you get up to speed again, and I'll turn this over to the pro again. BTW, hint on the part I posted: it has something to do with both the alternator and air cleaner and was used on some 63 and 64 models.

                  OK, no one is going to figure that part out. It's a alternator bracket used only on R2 GT's to allow the alternator to clear the chrome air cleaner. BTW, that also why the GT's have the small 30 amp alternator rather then the bigger unit used on Avanti powered Larks.
