    It there anyone who makes replacement aluminum door sill plates? I need a new set for my 1940 commander.

    Only sill plates I know of are for postwar Studes.

    No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

      This is another of those issues I would address to the Antique Studebaker Club. I'm sure someone has addressed and solved their need.

        nope, We have needed sill plates for my 1941 now for 8 years and nobody makes them or is interested in hearing about it. You may need to make some out of that stuff from the hardware store, if I had some blank I would do it, you need them, it makes the car and carpet neat.
