My GT Hawk has a 4 barrel WCFB. It currently has an aftermarket chrome air cleaner. Does anyone know (or have) where to find a stock looking variety (besides scouring the swap meets ,etc. any vendors carrying these? I have not seen any..)?

all I can say is "good luck with that." Sorry to say that you've apparently started looking for a part that's going to be hard to find and hard to pay for. My car is running a '62 'vette air cleaner, those are actually easier to find.
I can't always be helpful...

A couple of years ago I bought one that was modified from a 2brl air cleaner and paid $125 for it. About knocked my socks off. The only problem I have now is it rubs fairly hard on the hood insulation and it makes the nice finish dull. I bought a small chrome after market one just to use to drive around with and it to rubs. The 4brl carb. must be a little higher than the 2's

SASCO had a few oil bath jobs last year, but I might have cleaned them out for ebay.

I see used ones going for over $150 on ebay, kinda silly.

You might try to contact Jim Turner of Turner Brake fame....
He modified his 2bbl air cleaner to fit on an AFB, and it looks bone stock, with the little snorkle and everything. He has some hole saw holes around the bottom to let all the 4bbl air in[:0].
I know it wasn't a GT Hawk air cleaner (or hood), but maybe the idea wagon will help you out. Maybe he can send you some pic's.
