    I need the specs for a 1960 Champ Pick up. The "toe in" settings will probably suffice. Thanks.

    Per the shop manual: "A toe-in correction should not be made until it is known that all other front end alignment factors are within specified limits." To answer your specific question; "The toe-in limits are 1/16"-1/8"..."

      My front end shop insists on setiing the toe-in to ZERO with radial tires....

        The "zero toe-in with radial tyres" is unfortunately a popular misconception. Toe-in is set on a stationary car, once underway you'd end up with toe-out!!!
        NEVER allow anybody to set toe-in to zero. Mind you, too much toe isn't real good either. Toe-in is a tyre-wearing setting, but you need a bit of it to get good road behaviour from your car.
        I set my cars to 1.5 - 2.0 mm/meter (0.06" - 0.08" / 3'4" approx). This means I measure a little less on the wheels, as they are smaller than 1 meter.
