    Does any one know the spring rating on the heavy duty taxi front coil springs for 59 lark. Thanks Moose

    I bet Jon Myers at Myers Studebaker would know this. He's done a lot of spring research.

      Studebaker never quoted any spring rates, only wire diameter. The new coil spring manufacturers have ALL that info to make you new sprigs, but they would need to know if it is a 6 or 8 Cyl. ...Big difference! Most Taxis were 6, but there were 8's! [:0]

      If you are looking for HEAVY, then you do not want taxi, you want Wagonaire or Avanti!

        I have a pair of NOS HD 6-cylinder Wagonaire springs.
