  • Studebakers Maine

Hi all...Am in the process of restoring 63 Hawk gt. Anyone one know any Studebaker guys in Maine?

  • #2
I don't know any personally, but the club roster shows 50 members in that state.

    Miscreant at large.

    1957 Transtar 1/2ton
    1960 Larkvertible V8
    1958 Provincial wagon
    1953 Commander coupe
    1957 President 2-dr
    1955 President State
    1951 Champion Biz cpe
    1963 Daytona project FS
No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

Whoops...looks like I posted some old info. I'll bet if jfh calls the phone number listed he'll find the correct meeting place and date. Sorry about that.

                JFH welcome aboard!
Your link to Studebakering in northern New England is the Tri-Spokes (ME, NH & VT) Chapter of the Studebaker Drivers Club. We've got roughly 90 to 100 members. For more information contact Paul Melanson of Goffstown, NH (603-668-2597) editor of the Chapter newsletter,"Mirror Images". Paul lives in NH but works in Maine and he can give you the names of some of the Chapter members from Maine. Another good contact is Dennis Dupont of Derry, NH (603-434-9290). Dennis is the tour master for the Chapter and also is a great resource for Studebaker parts and information. His dad was a Studebaker dealer in Lawrenece, MA.

Here is a list of some of the upcomming Chapter meetings from the latest newletter:

Sunday March 12, 2006 - Mr. G's Restaurant, Rt 131, Ascutney, VT Lunch 12:30 pm meeting to follow.

Sunday April 9, 2006 - Hayloft Restaurant, Route 1, Wells, ME Lunch at 12:30 pm meeting to follow.

July 21-23, 2006 - Northeast Zone Meet - Best Western Hotel, Keene, NH (Sponsored by the Tri-Spokes Chapter).

                Regards,
