  • Speedster Gauges

Does anyone know how to replace or rechrome the bezels on the Stewart-Warner guages in the Speedster dash? My Tachometer and Speedometer as well as a couple of the smaller gauges have dull or pitted bezels around the glass. Looks like the bezels are stamped on by machine and I don't see a way to remover or replace. Help!

    Thanks in advance!

      Thanks Mr Biggs!

I did just that - pried them off very carefully and had them re-chromed. They look very nice. Now, before I put them back on I'd like to touch up or repaint the gauge needles. Are these painted with a reflective-type paint or just a bright white? I'm assuming it is a flat or satin type finish, but is it a reflective type paint?

      Thanks!

There is a compnay in Mineapolis Mn. That has restored two sets of Speedster gages for me and done a vary nice job on both sets. they use new bezels, and redo the faces. It takes a spl. tool to crimp the bezel on. $$$$$$
