  • Polarzation

I just purchased a regulator. I have a 12 volt mopar alternator. This regulator is solid state. Is this a bolt on job or is polarzation or some other process needed? My 1955 Presudent had this charging system in it when I purchased it. I have only worked on generator systems.

Alternator systems do not need polarizing. In fact, attempting to do so could ruin the regulator.
