  • Radio knob/buttons repair??

Is there anyway to repair cracked buttons and knobs on radios? I have 1958 Golden Hawk radio (actually two) One the buttons just fell apart trying to remove them. Knobs came off okay.. Other radio works etc... buttons etc are aged cracked... can they be refinished some way still on the radio?...I don't want to try and remove them for fear of ruining them.
    Thanks, Don.

You should be able to buy replacements from one of the SDC vendors, S.I. or SASCO. I got replacements for myne from S.I.

Check with some of the vendors who advertise radio restoration in Turning wheels. Ten years ago I got new buttons for my 51 from Foster.
