    Well i guess its time for help. I have a1950 commander and am ready to install the stainless steel that goes over the rocker panels but I am [:I]unsure how the clips that hold it are mounted any help would be appreciated. thx ricko

    The clips, which are again available from several vendors, have two tabs in the center. The back of the tabs insert through square holes in the rocker. When you bend the front of the tabs up and down, the back of the tabs lock over the sheetmetal. I don't remember if the top and bottom are asymmetrical. Determine which side is up and make certain they are all installed the same. Then the molding just snaps in place.

      I am also looking for a source for trim clips.

      I need push in ones for the 1/4 window on a 55 Commander.
      I can find the nut/bolt ones, but not the push in kind.

        I haven't taken the trim off of my car so I'm not sure exactly what the setup is, but often they are the same clip. Instead of using a threaded nut however you would use a "barrel nut" which is set in the hole, then the stud of the clip goes into the barrel nut which provides a friction fit.
