Wheelbase: 113 inches (from the book)
tread width approximately 61 inches (measured from my M5)

I have been told a mid-1990s S10 chassis will fit with some modification.

A bit of advice: you would be much better off, and probably spend a lot less money, if you found yourself a complete vehicle in reasonably good shape to start with. Use the basket case for parts.

the wheelbase on an M5 was 113 inches. I don't find reference to what the track was but I'm sure Gary Ash can tell you. Gary[?][:I]

    '47 M5 length & width

I have been offered a '47 M5 that is not only in very bad shape, but is completly disassembled. The frame is no good. I'm thinking of finding a late model truck chassis for it. Can someone tell me the length and width, (center of tire to center of tire)? Or is there a certain chassis that someone might know that would fit nicely?

    Thanks
    Tom
