Does anyone know of a site where I can download a progam for choosing a paint color for my Stude. Hopefully one where I can scan an image of my vehicle and apply different colors to see how they look before I make a costly mistake. Thanks

I think that for something like that, someone would have had to create all the views in advance, very carefully in an image editing program (by altering the color tone of the large painted areas of the car while not affecting the chrome, glass and rubber), and then package it in some web-based or desktop software application that would let you call up those images by mousing over a color pallete on the page. This is done for flooring and wall paint colors in some slick websites that use Flash applications. They make it look easy, but it's not simple behind the scenes.

Having said that, you could email me a photo of your car or a similar one, preferably in a light-to-medium color, and I'll see what I can come up with in my image editor. I can't promise success, but I can doodle with it for an hour. Be sure to also send me images with samples of the colors you are considering.

Or, use Google, and do an image search for cars like yours, using the year and model as keywords. Maybe you'll find some images of cars painted in each of the colors you are interested in.

Such a site exists, but it is only for Speedsters and their limited colors.
