  • 4 way flashers

Besides the very rare Flarestat kits that come up for sale sometimes, does anyone know of any aftermarket kit that can be easily installed on Larks so I can have hazard flashers? I hate to admit the number of times I wished my cars had them.

Use the buy it now and get this. It's not the one that Studebaker used, but it works and is of the same vintage. These come up all the time at this price.

I was under the impression that SASCO had those originals in stock. No?

That one on eBay looks good, but with Christmas coming I'll probably have to stop getting myself presents for a month or so[:I]. I'll check again for that item a later time.

Now, I remember one on e-bay that was a NOS studebaker unit that got very expensive (I think it might have gone for over $100). If Sasco has NOS ones I doubt they're $25.

Of course, with the wiring diagram, I think even I can figure out how to make one with a toggle switch, but it wouldn't look particularly elegant or even like it belongs there... That one on e-bay looks quite nice.

They are fairly expensive. I think SASCO gets $80ish for them.

Basically all they do is connect the output of a flasher to the lights at the four corners of the car... essentially a 4PST switch with one leg of each pole commoned up to the flasher output.
