  • Ever heard of Waxoyl?

    Found this on the web:

Sounds kind of interesting but wondered if anyone had any experience
with it. I'd like to do the frame of my 65 with something. Years ago, I bought a rustproofing kit that was made by Duro to do an old 66 Econoline van. Stuff stunk like the dickens, but it created a waxy coating on everything it touched. That van never rusted (at least in the 10 years I owned it). I've since looked for those kits and can't find the anywhere. This Waxoyl looks similar.

I've spoken to some people who seem to think highly of the stuff.

I wonder if they have any dealers/applicators on the West Coast?

I found it on Ebay, but only in the spray cans. I'm looking for some I could load in a spray gun and apply it that way.

Try a small spray can of LPS #3. Hardware stores have it. It's an excellent penetrating oil, too. Larger quantitis and pump bottles are at:http://www.jtsmach.com/jtswebshop/Fluids/FL016.asp .
