Lional Stone has them $600 a piece, any grind you want.

Is that $600 with the grind of choice or just the core?

Hi Thanks for the tip,, Ill try. $600. is about right, any other roller grind is up there too. lionel stone probably has to pay a large premium to get a small batch run. and probably a minimum run of 100 cores. So his expenses are up front, and then labor. It all gets real costly very quick. $600. is not too steep. I would expect to pay half that for a core. Tom.

Chicago billet is the company that makes them for all the cam grinders, Lional has a guy that dose his cams for him, he picked them up from Jet City Studebaker when they went out of business, you are perty close to Northern Wash. there you could check about Corban Walters he might still have some stuff left,

Hi Allan, It seems that Corbin Walters shut down awhile ago, And knowbody seems to know where He currently is. With his talent, no doubt some race team or shop has scooped him up. Thanks a bunch for the info. Ill try Chicago Billet.

That is the name Ed Iskenderian gave me as the one where he buys his billets from. But he told me that they sell by the ton you could not buy less than a few thousand.

Alan, We have been able to purchace small runs of cores of less than 200 for nearly anything. We have only heard of two individuals that have produced stude roller cam blanks. the gentleman in oregon may have sold out or passed away, we couldnt locate his shop. The other company is definatley back east and Chicago sounds right. Chicago Billet doesnt come up on screen. thanks Tom.
