Thought I would give an update om my 37 troubles. After changing everything elect. I found that I had a n intake manifold leak. got that fixed. no help. I checked the carb. It was getting gas for the first two pumps, then nothing. the accelerator pump was sticking. fixed that. Now it will start but runs rough except at idle. I think I still have trouble with the vac. advance. When I increase the gas the distributor does not move. If the advance was working shouldn't the distributor turn with increased gas?

It depends on which port you have your vacuum advance hooked up to.
Check it with a vacuum guage.
