  • Gt Hawk disc brakes

I junked a very rusty GT Hawk after removing the steering box/column & the seats to use in my 55 coupe . I can still pull any parts left on it ( not much usable though). Im wondering if I should get the front rotors & calipers . Anybody running oe disc brakes on regularly driven Studes . Do they give a lot of trouble , as I have heard ? Would I be better off finishing adapting GM rotors & calpers as I have started to do . The difference in lug bolt patterns is not an issue .Maybe save the Stude brake parts for another project ? Thanks[?]

Save the brakes, someone will be eternaly thankfull later. Parts for these are getting hard to find and expensive.

I have OE disk brakes on my Hawk and Cruiser. Both work fine. I don't have any way to compare them with newer disk brakes, however.
