I have a pinion seal leaking on my '59 Lark VI. The guy I bought the car from said that he replaced the seal but it was a temporary fix as the pinion bearing has lots of slop and would leak again. Am I better off to rebuild the the rear end and are those parts available or should I buy a new rear-end? I read another post that SASCO sells the whole rear end assembly. What is the best way to go?
Thanks,
Paul
