    What oil is recommended for use in the TT rear end??

    90-140 gear oil, add a small container of additive for the clutch pack.(Kendall has it, so does GM) You can also ise a Red Line product too,N8 lmow which one.

      Redline Heavy Shockproof is what was recommended to me by Ted Harbit; I've used it without issues in the 3.31 TT unit in my '62. No friction modifiers required for use in a limited slip.

      I believe that any GL-5 rated oil with the appropriate friction modifiers would work; I just consider a good synthetic cheap insurance.
