  • Paint Colors - What's Correct?

    I'm cleaning up a few details on my newly acquired 54 Champion. The undercarriage is now mostly light rust and scale with no descernable paint left.
    What was the correct undercarriage factory paint scheme for the frame rails, rear axle/differential, shocks(assumed those were black or dark blue, leafs, fuel tank, etc??

    Most everything was black, save for some bits that were their natural metal color (such as the fuel tank, master cylinder, etc..
