The diaphram in the vacuum advance on one of my automatic V8 Champs has bit the dust. Is it time to look into some different type of distributor set up? Or should I just get another vacuum advance unit and be done with it?

Steve, Is this a Prestojunk distributor or Delco?[?]

    Miscreant at large.
No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

Just slap a new vacuum advance in there and keep on truckin' Steve. I think what Bob might be thinking is that you might want to put a Delco distributor back in, while you have the distributor out anyway, for the "big" fix. Better yet, a Delco with a Pertronix setup!
