    Engines were Alberta Blue, primarily (available in spray cans from Stude vendors). Some time, in late production, that was changed to a turquoise color that persisted thru most of the '57 models.
    The fans were engine color or black. Oil filter cannisters installed at the factory were engine color - if installed by a dealer they were orange with a black lid. Valve covers were metallic gold. The generator, starter, battery hold-down, fan shroud, hood rod, upper radiator baffle and power steering pump reservoir lid were black. The rest of the pump was engine colored, including the pump's pulley.
