I would like to find out the engine color for a 1955 Speedster.

Engines were Alberta Blue, primarily (available in spray cans from Stude vendors). Some time, in late production, that was changed to a turquoise color that persisted thru most of the '57 models.
The fans were engine color or black. Oil filter cannisters installed at the factory were engine color - if installed by a dealer they were orange with a black lid. Valve covers were metallic gold. The generator, starter, battery hold-down, fan shroud, hood rod, upper radiator baffle and power steering pump reservoir lid were black. The rest of the pump was engine colored, including the pump's pulley.

    Miscreant at large.
No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.
