  • 7.25" rims on a 2R10?

Hello Stude Wizards. My truck is in Illinois and I am in Vegas. I am trying to find some rims to put on the 2R10 which are not split rims. I will keep the orginals for the next owner, but want something more up to date. My brother measured lug to lug and came up with 7.25".....could that be right? I have never heard of one that wide. Any thoughts on different rims? Is the only solution adapters??

Stockton Wheel Service sells something they call Power Wagon II wheels.
They also offer custom made Heavy truck wheels for "Vintage Trucks."
What should be on your truck is 5 lug, "safety rim" Budd type(tho they could have been made by Firestone) 7 1/4 bolt circle, 5 9/16 pilot hole diamter, wheels w/ 5/8-18 lugnuts.

Thanks, but when you say "should be on the truck" are you saying these wheels are not originals ??? I thought the 6 lugs were original with the 2r10 trucks...can you confirm?...thanks again for the help.

Some were 5 lug some 6 and I'm not sure why.
I have a 52 2r11 parts truck with 5 lug Budd type wheels.
I also have a 56 rear axle from an 2E11(3/4ton) with 6 lug wheels.
Just double check the wheels that are on it before buying any.
