I am looking at new rubber for the Toter. It has 8x19.5 on it now. So I went to a big rig tire shop about 4 miles from me and they said those things are really hard to find and $$$. So they recomend switching to 225-70r-19.5 medium duty truck tires. The cost is about $40 less per tire x 6. He said he's sure the rim is wide enough to accomidate the new tires. They are a little wider and about 2" shorter. He also said if I had a problem while traveling that they are alot easier to get. Anybody ever made the switch or have any suggestions on what tires to use?
Also he asked if it had suicide rims, I told him i was 98% sure they are one piece rims, but not 100% its a 64 E28 Toter with stock rims.
