  • Installing script on trunk lid

The trunk lid on my Hawk is NOS and came without holes for
the "silver hawk" and "TT" trim pieces; Any tips of how to
install the trim? Doesn't seem to be any room to get to the back
of the studs to secure them. Adhesive?

    Thanks,

    Joe D.

they were held on by "barrel nuts" which insert from the outside of the sheetmetal, then you press the script into them.

Any body shop that has been around for a couple score years will probably have what you need in their hardware bins.
They are still available from auto body supply shops or someplace like Restoration Specialties.
