  • Throttle shaft arm loose

On my WCFB carb the actuator lever or throttle linkage lever is loose or wobbles thanks to the incorrect adjustment of the accelerator rod. Is there a fix for this? The "peened" part is warn enough so there's play before the unit actually moves the throttle shaft.
I was hoping there was a replacement throttle shaft available with a drilled & tapped end for a locking type machine screw.. I guess it could be welded or soldiered but wanted to see if there was a typical fix for this aggravating problem.

Wow, someone in this town has something other than a Chevy!!

Brazing it, is the only fix I know that works without replacing no longer available parts like the throttle shaft.
