Bias ply tire width

What is the narrowest bias ply tire size that can be bought for a 15" rim 6" wide?
Need to find something with the above rim that can be squeezed into a 7 1/2" wheel well, if possible.

Try this link ... Just look up current radial tire size that is recommended for your rim and come back across to pre 64 tire sizes for bias size

Thanks John.
The problem is that I am trying to find a tire that fits a Lincoln 15" X 6" rim with the narroest and smallest possible tire
that will fit a 7 1/2" wide wheel well on a 37 coupe express for a spare.
For this application there are no recomendations.
Looking for bias ply because I tought they are narrower than
radial.
I am not realy sure if my assuptions are correct.
That is why I hope to find some help.

Most of the narrow tires would have been less on rims less than 6" in width. The Avanti stock rim was 15" X 5" (4-1/2" from bead sealing surface to bead sealing surface) and originally came with 6.70 X 15 bias tires and closest radial is 205/75/15 in diameter. Ask a tire shop what the most narrow bias tire can fit on a 6" rim if all else fails, If you would like my stock Avanti rims let me know as I'll be replacing them with some custom wheels.

One other quick thought ... Contact Deepnhock (forum member) he has a 37 Coupe Express and he may have some ideas about rims and tires.
