  • back-up lights?

Hi I have a 62 lark wagon. The back-up lights come on when in low not reverse. I have adjusted the shift linkage, where is the back-up light switch located? Can it be adjusted? Thanks Tom

it can be adjusted, I'm assuming you have a Flightomatic? I believe that it's still under the hood on the steering column, just above the steering box.

I just checked the book, it looks like I was mistaken, 62 they changed to the more modern molded plastic switch. Not sure if that one is still under the hood or inside the passenger compartment, Either way, adjustment is the same - loosen the bolts that hold it to the column, put the shifter in "R" and move the switch around until the backup lights just come on, but turn off when you move the shifter to "L"

The 62 switches are on the colum, near the firewall.
