  • Upholstery for 1953 Champion Regal Coupe

I am really looking for the upholstery of a 1953 Champion Regal Coupe, model 14GC5. This upholstery was unique to this model. It is cloth. I am willing to buy new or decent used cloth segments. I have a picture of the print if you need to see it. All I really need is about a 30" x 30" section. I will take what you have though.

I could not find anyone with material to match the cloth that came in my 1953 Commander Deluxe Starlight Coupe. Eventually I found an almost perfect match at SMS in Oregon. Unfortunately I ordered the yardage that my upholsterer recommended.... he ran short and they ran out of material. That was last April... I am still waiting for another two yards. And that explains why my car wasn't in Cedar Rapids last Summer. Hopefully it will be at the Upper Mississippi Valley Zone Meet in Moline this August. It is depressing seeing an almost finished car sit for a year just awaiting the seats.
