  • 63 Avanti, washer bag

A follow up question to my "foot pump". How and were should the bag be installed. Pictures would be very appreciated as I've seen several positions and don't know what is original.

The washer bag retainer mounts on the right fender inner apron edge at about the same position as the body number tag. The bag hangs down the apron side just forward of the heater motor. I'm sure someone can post a picture (I can't).

Was a windshield washer standard equipment or an option?

        Thanks.

That's one of the nicest engine bays...stock or modified...that I have seen in a long time. []

Bob Langer - I think that is the nicest engine compartment I have ever seen. That's cleaner than my living room.
