  • proper catalog part name???????

I am thumbing through my parts catalog to see if the "front headlight ring that bolts to the fender, pot metal) is still available from anyone. I know I need the part number to check. Does anyone know what Studebaker called this part for a 56 wagon??? thanks.

It's in the electrical section, chassis parts book. Could be called headlight door, retainer, rim. If you tell us the year and model we can tell you if they are available.

It should be noted that, traditionally, anything from the windshield forward is considered part of the chassis, as any sort of body could be mounted from there back. Front sheetmetal=chassis.

The Scotsman bare or primed ones are available, no Chrome ones.
