I've got a whole bunch of good v8 rods, but the wristpins in most are stuck tight in the old pistons. Any suggestions for loosening them up so I can salvage the rods? Thanx in advance, KP

An old 9/16 half inch drive socket works well. Soak the piston pins with PB Blaster or something similar and drive the pins out with a hammer and socket.

I've found some light heating from a torch works best to break down the oxidized aluminum. It only takes a few seconds, and not that much heat and you can rock the piston on the rod.
