  • Brake booster

I have a 1960 Hawk that has been converted to chrysler front disc brakes. It stops well, but takes alot of foot pressure. I want to add a booster, but don't know if I should use a hydrovac from a hawk equipped with standard brakes, or a GT hawk equipped with disc brakes. How about a aftermarket booster, and which one do you recomend?

I've used them interchangeably, maybe just a difference in pedal effort.

I've heard that there is a difference, but I'm running a hydrovac from a 56 golden Hawk on my 63 GT with disk brakes. Seems to work fine. NT
