  • Linkage question

    Is there a rubber grommet or bushing if you will where the automatic
    shift rod(63 GT) goes through the bracket on top of the steering column then down to the lever on the trans.I have a new one for the trans. end but can't seem to find a part # for 1 at the other end.

    #1551556 also shows two spring washers #192057.

      The washers are in stk. of several vendors,but I cant seem to find the bushing #1551556.Tried S.I. & SASCO & Myres any suggestions

        It's the same insulator for the standard column shift as the automatic, if that helps.
