Looking for a front shock absorber for my 1955 Commander.Any part numbers and and availabilty would be appreciated.Restoring a 1955 commander.The further I go the behinder I get.Thanks

there's some part numbers on the "maintenance parts" list on my website. several options from cheap but functional to Bilstein or Koni. Or you could go to your FLAPS and ask for front shocks for a Volvo 1800 or C1 Corvette (they're the same.)

Yes, it IS now owned by Monroe, [}] but I do not believe they make or changed Gabriel shocks much or any.
