Oval Avanti supercharged emblems

ON my 63 Avanti i have the oval type emblems with the chrome
frame,i know that they dont belong on a Avanti.How are they
held on the car cant see any thing holding it.Inner fenders
all sealed & looked behind the kick panels.

You cant see them behind the kick panels unless you remove the 'flapper door' for the fresh air vent. The originals had studs that had 5/16 tinnerman nuts accessed on the inside.
