      Now..three different versions.
      Should be the Delco distributor though.

        no, everything '62 and later used autolite/prestolite. R-engines got a dual point version.

          I use the Pertronix unit for the Chrysler big block engines from the late 60's to 1970 in the R series Prestolite distributors. If I remember correctly the Pertronix number is 1382. Bud

            As far as Pertronix goes..., if the distributor is a dual point Prestolite, you're good to go. Pertronix does not make a kit for the single point Prestolite.

                Can anyone advise me on a kit for a single point Prestolite IBP-1052? '63 Hawk 2 barrell. Been trying for two ywars to find something.Thanks

                  Those were available about a year ago, now GONE no longer made! [xx(]

                  They were Pertronix units modified by Crane, but Crane is gone.

                    I have just added a Hitachi module and a pickup from big block Chrysler into the Prestolite distributor.
                    I have a 6 page article on it. I you like email me and I will send it to you.
                    You can use almost any 4 pin HEI module and it works a treat.
