    what model trans does the studebaker hawk 1961 with the 289 have in it? is it a Borg warner? what is it call? how can it be upgraded? Dis it have a weakness and is it air cooled?

    It's a Flight-o-matic, it's one tough unit and it's air cooled unless it's a Heavy Duty in which case it has cooling lines running to the bottom tank of the radiator.
