  • firewall suspended pedal assembly

I have a 57 Silverhawk that has been subframed with a 73 Dodge torsion bar suspension. It has front disc brakes. What pedal assembly, master cyclinder, power booster would be most effective mounted on the firewall?

I'd check out the Dodge PB setup. It'll match the front discs and you can probably use the proportioning valve.

My 54K is all GM disks/drums so I used a late 80's IROC pedal assembly, MC, booster, Prop valve. Stops just like a late 80's IROC.

The most important factor is to brace the heck out of firewall. Eliminate the flex or invite problems. I used 3/16 plate and 1 1/2" angle.

    Good Luck
