Repost because the original was archived and the picture locations are
    no longer correc:

Went out driving around after correcting the runout issue, have a little bit
pulsating left, but it got better then more I drive it. The manufacturer had
told me to follow this proceedure :

Here are a few pictures along the way :

Would you believe that those rear brakes are the same diameter as the
    stock Studebaker fronts?

Getting down low .. and watching for cars!

Went to the beach, here is the river where it hits the Pacific :

    Looks kinda menancing :

Here is what happens when your gas gauge doesnt work, and you throw
caution to the wind and decide to make "one run" before hitting the gas
station to fill up - you run out of GAS! Luckily, I was walking distance to
the Vandenberg Air Force Base NASA Gate. I was able to call a friend, &
he drove out to bring me gas. I made the mistake of taking a picture of
the Gate on the way back to the car. I was met shortly by Vandenberg
Police, & they were going to take my film until I explained it was a digital
camera. He had to watch, as I deleted the image, after calling into their
headquarters to find out what to do. 911 changed more then a few things.

This is for those who think there is no passenger side :

Thanks for the well wishes Dan, unfortunately she has to learn to live
with the constant and sometimes unbearable pain. Added to our fun is
a next door neighbor that has gone as far as threaten to kill me. Yah
he is a drunk, but I do not take kindly to threats. This past week we
were forced to call the Police as he was yelling profanities from his
porch at 10:30 at night. The Police came to tell him to turn down his
music and quiet down, but after they left he charged our property and
we had to call 911. I wont detail his colorful metaphors, but it was
laced with the mother of all sware words. My wife, and correctly so,
would not allow me to go outside and "talk" to him. My dad, visiting
from Michigan witnessed the event, we had just returned home from a
rather nice Italian dinner, to him hiding at the property line yelling
out, "pack it up, shut it down, they are home!", to which the events I
mention above followed. Glad 2009 is over.

Brad, I am SOOO sorry for the wait, who knew the CNC guys mother would
pass away right after I gave him the base brackets to modify. Nothing
        sucks more then waiting!!!

Boy, it's one thing after another for you and the Mrs., Tom[B)] I sometimes wonder what you could do if you caught a few breaks and got a little shop time[8D] Few of us have your skills or accomplishment level.

Best of luck in 2010, both in your brake work and life in general![^]

It's ok Tom, I have plenty to do in the mean time. (besides the last thing you need is more stress). Some things in life are beyond our control.
I'm sorry about your run of bad luck.(and lousy neighbors). Some people are a-holes and thats all they excell in[}].
I hope 2010 finds you and all my freinds the best.

It's weird how some coockoos think their neighbor is an appropriate recipient for their rantings. Cops are funny about it too. They just figure if you aren't going to shoot the guy then they have no worries. I have found that the best way to get their help is to sometimes make them think that you are going to do their job for them. They hate the thought of that, and they'll make darn sure the freak is contained in the future. Just video him and then take the video to the cops and explain to them that this is why you have applied for a gun permit. That you really believe that this guy's rage is escalating and you firmly believe that it will be necessary to use deadly force to prevent him from doing bodily harm to you and your family. Just say that you are making this visit to their department as a courtesy and that they have nothing to worry about as you are prepared to handle it yourself in your own way. It's like when the city wouldn't come out and fix a huge pothole in front of my house. I finally just told them that I had a bunch of extra bricks and broken pieces of concrete block and a shovel and that they needn't worry about it any more cuz I was going to take care of it. That afternoon they had a crew out in front of my house with the street blocked off and enough machinery to build a freakin highway.
