  • Replacing fuel lines

I am replacing all the fuel ines on my 1950 Champion while it is laid up. Since this is the first time I have ever done it I have to ask - do you put any sealer on the threads? It doesn't look like there was anything on them, but the car is old so maybe there was. I want to do this right.

No sealer, flair fittings hold the seal. If you want to lubricate the threads, use Teflon paste.

Thanks Tom. That's what I needed to know.
