Stude People from LI

I am wondering if there is anybody that lives either on Long Island or very near it. I need someone with experience to help me judge the condition of my 63 Avanti.

There are a lot of Studebaker/SDC people on and near Long Island. They don't all have expertise in Avantis. There are SDC Chapters on Long Island, Manhattan, Staten Island, Hudson Valley, NJ, etc.

If you want to bring it to me, I will look it over for you, but I am sure that you can get someone closer.

Where are you on LI? LI is more than 100 miles long. Maybe we can come up with someone close to you.

If you are concerned with condition (not mechanical condition) and authenticity, post a bunch of pictures here and tell us to have a go at it. You will get people from all around the World looking at it that way.

There are people from LI that post on this Forum, but I do not know their knowledge level on Avantis.

I live on Long Island and belong to the L.I.Region of SDC.
I'm not an expert on Avantis, but if you come to one of our meetings, perhaps one of our members can help you.
One of our members, Kurt Larsen has a beautiful Avanti, but he & his wife spend the winter in Florida.
Our club meets the 3rd Thursday of every month at 7:30 P.M. at Marjorie Post Park in Massapequa.

That's great. Follow Jeff's advice and contact the president of the Avanti club.
You're still welcome to join us at the L.I. Studebaker Club.
