I want to change my 16" bias plys to radials. Will the original rims hold a tubeless radial? Any suggestions? If I need to change the rims, does anyone have any idea what rims work and can I still mount the hubcaps? Thanks! Happy Holidays!

I believe there are radial tubes in case your rims won't hold air.

Are we talking a 3/4 Ton with one piece steel stock wheels here?

If so they had tubeless tires in the the '60's and the non-split rim wheels hold air just fine, also many owners are running radials on them, they just need to be 85 series, narrow tires, not in a large size, before P metric radials, they were 700X16 6 Ply Truck Tires.
