  • V8 mount biscuit thickness

Anyone have rattling around in their noggin the correct thickness of an engine mount rubber 'puck'? I've got a pair from NAPA and they may not be the right size, making the engine pitch up too much.
    Thanks!

The thickness for a slightly used standard V-8 mount is 1 1/4" Tom.

The one's I have here measure approx. 1 5/16" or 1.310-12" the Avanti R3's are 7/8". They vary in thickness from where you get them and how old and used they are.

Ditto, Tom I have a couple dozen fresh V-8 new stock reproduction or continued original production, in stock and they are exactly 1 5/16" [^]

I would not think that NAPA would have '53-'64 Studebaker mounts because they are peculiar to Stude. They might have the thick through-bolted '51-'52 type though, because they are Ford/Mercury.
