The clear plastic center (with the Hawk in it) is a 'press in' setup that is held in place with an o-ring using a 'friction fit'. It should pop off with gentle prying with a thin flat blade. However, after years of being in place, be prepared for it to feel like it is glued in place, and it may be hard to remove. Resist the temptation to pry real hard on it, as it will crack very easily. Work slowly to get it out by going 'around the clock' slowly to rock it out.
Once it is out there are three screws holding the horn bar to the wheel.
    Hope the info helps.

My hawk horn ring needs to be rechromed however I don't know if it can be also how is it attached to the wheel? Has anyone ever rechromed their horn ring or did you just buy a new one?
